Google Searches Always Bring Surprises
Since November 5 2004 (Geez! Have I been blogging that long?), I have written 1,744 posts (this is 1,745). So, as you can well imagine, I can’t remember whats in most of them. I know which ones are the most popular and what’s in those, but on the whole, I couldn’t tell you what’s in [...]

Let’s just say that it was frustrating.
The most frustrating part was the permalink issue. All known and posted fixes failed to [...]

Twitter: A Success Failure?
When FireFox 1.0 was released, the sites hosting this eagerly awaited software effectively were overwhelmed by the number of users attempting to download it.
A colleague of mine referred to it as a Success Failure. What is that? It simply means that you have been so successful at getting the word out and getting people excited [...]

Print v. Web: Which comes first?
Today, I want to talk about what happens when you aggressively adopt an online strategy, but leave your print subscribers behind.
I subscribe to a great architecture and design magazine, whose name I will exclude from this discussion, with a fantastic and informative online presence. The archive and articles available to subscribers are a fantastic resource [...]
